Our mission is to deliver quality financial resources that focus on the development and prosperity of our clients, communities and bank family through leadership and passion.

The Tri-County Bank has been serving the area as an independently owned community bank since 1945. Stuart Community members (H.W. Gallegher, Nate Crowell, J.D. Cronin, T.E. McGuire, Wm. Krotter Company, Robert Chittick and Dr. F.J. Clark) and then Governor Dwight Griswold worked together to bring Rushville Banker/Attorney Joe G. Brewster and family to Stuart and provide majority ownership to the new venture.

In 1967, Donald and Sally (Joe's daughter) Schmaderer moved backed to Stuart to begin working in the family and community business. Don and Sally took over majority ownership in 1977 through the Tri-County Holding Company.

Today, the bank remains family owned and operated. Donald Schmaderer (Board Chairman), Sally Schmaderer (Director), Jon D. Schmaderer (President), Jennifer Schmaderer (Marketing), Janet Brewster (Administration), Nancy Steinhauser (Bassett Office Manager) are active family members in the Bank, Agency, and Financial Center.

The bank now provides financial services in the areas of banking, insurance, and investments throughout North Central Nebraska. The bank currently offers direct services through offices in Stuart, Atkinson, Bassett and Newport.
