On Tuesday, April 7, 2026, The Tri-County Bank acquired Butte State Bank in Butte and Spencer, NE.
Thank you for your patience during the transition process. We expect to be fully transitioned by the end of 2026.
Important Information
- Your current account number will remain the same. New accounts opened after April 7 will have a different number scheme than existing accounts.
- Your existing checks will work. You do not need to order new checks to transact business or update your routing number.
- Your debit card will work. You do not need to order a new debit card to transact business. A debit card update to TCB will happen later in 2026.
- Online Banking – You will continue to use www.buttebank.com to access your account information. We will be migrating the existing website and online banking to a new TCB site in the near future.
- Locations and Phone numbers will remain the same. There will be no changes to the phone number or address of either the Butte or Spencer locations.
- People – Expect to see the same, experienced team to handle your banking relationship under the TCB name and logo.
